Status of ODK Collect for iPad

We are interested in using iPad for data entry. My project will start in
few weeks. Can someone tell me if we are able to do the Data Collect on
Ipad now?
Thanks,
Wen

Wen,

There have been various projects that have started but I am not aware of
one that is complete and is in general use. However, there could be one out
there so hopefully if someone knows of one they will respond.

This question was answered in the subject "ODK Collect vs Survey" and
Waylon Brunette answered:

/The ODK team does not have any immediate plans to support iPhone. ODK
Survey will make it easier to make a tool version on the iPhone as//
//being javascript it is more platform independent besides the hooks
needed into the OS. However this is not high on the ODK core team's//
//priority list so you will not see any iphone support anytime soon. We
support the idea but we don't have the resources to do it in the short//
//run.//
////
//As always code contributions are welcome if somebody wants to do the
port. The ODK core team has a long list of requests we try to get to,//
//but we can't get to them all. ODK Survey's use of javascript and html
makes it much easier to support an iphone version as we are already//
//supporting a version of ODK Survey that runs in chrome.//
//
/I think that this applicable to both iPhone and iPad.

Abdul,

You can also try http://www.enketo.org which has ODK-compatible form
entry in a browser. Haven't tried it myself lately, but I think it
works offline too.
