Strange message code in label

Dear all,

I have created a large form (close to 200 rows) with both English labels
and Spanish labels. There are however 2 labels in Spanish that show a
strange code when I load the form in ODK Collect. When I go to the relevant
question, I see this label:

{u'Espa\xf1ol': u'Recordthe location again'}

The label should show a Spanish text however. No matter what I do (copying,
retype, clear potential hidden formatting, copy entire excel sheet to a new
excel, etc.) I don't get rid of this code. Only when I remove the Spanish
label, the message becomes normal again (the message then comes in English
of course).

I have this problem only with 2 labels in my form. I neither see strange
things in this labels (no strange characters or what so ever). I read on
the internet that the message-code is related to phyton...? Anyway, I am
not an expert. Maybe someone can explain to me what is causing the problem.
Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Eddy

Eddy,

The problem is most likely in the XLS file. File an issue at
https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list and attach your XLS
and XML form there. Please also clarify what you are using to do the
conversion (pyxform, xlsform.opendatakit.org, formhub).

If you can't attach your form to the public issue tracker, then create
a small test form with the problem.

Hi Yaw,

Thanks for the response. I will upload (part of) the form. I am using the
xlsform.opendatakit.org
http://www.google.com/url?q=http%3A%2F%2Fxlsform.opendatakit.org&sa=D&sntz=1&usg=AFQjCNGMKiFVkhl-dSOkMDWlSjQgHOuZBA
to convert my excel to xml.

Kind regards,

Eddy

Dear Yaw,

I uploaded the documents to
https://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/issues/list. It has recorded as issue
1025. Thanks for the help!
