Stuck..help!

Hello
I am very new to the use of ODK.I intend to use it to collect data on a
project i am currently undertaking.
I have authored an xls form(attached) by using video help and other
literature i found on the internet.
When i tried uploading it on the ODK aggregate it gave me the following
error message.
Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing Form:
org.opendatakit.aggregate.exception.ODKIncompleteSubmissionData:
org.javarosa.xform.parse.XFormParseException: XML Syntax Error at Line: 1,
Column: 631!

I will be happy if i could receive direction on aspects of the form i got
wrong and also what i need to do to be able to successfully upload my xls
form to ODK aggregate.

Hi Kofi,

You can't upload XLS file to ODK Aggregate. You first have to convert
it to an XML document. You can use the online tool here
http://opendatakit.org/xiframe/ or the other XLS converters listed at
https://opendatakit.org/use/xlsform/.

And I'm very biased because I made it, but I like Nafundi's XLSForm
Offline tool. https://gumroad.com/l/xlsform-offline.

Hello Kofi B.

So, your ODK Script was a little bit dirty; I had to do some cleaning and
re-attach it here.
I have also converted your XLS file into an XML file (attached) for the
Aggregate Server.

Hey!! Yaw,
i actually looked for you on fb when i found your name in some of the
threads and you responded,that's great!!.
I have followed the directions you gave but i have error messages popping
up when i tried coverting from xls to xform ,which i think has got to do
with how i have authored my survey and choices worksheet.
I am on it but will appreciate further assistance.

Welcome to ODK! It's always fun meeting a fellow Ghanaian

Form design is an iterative process, so work through the error
messages one at a time and you'll get there. If you get really stuck,
search the list and if you don't find an answer, post a new
thread/email.
