Sync from ODK Survey failing

Dear all,

I try to use ODK sync in combination with ODK Survey (by using the cloud
symbol in ODK Survey). When I follow the installation description on the
ODK website (using the url: https://opendatakit-surveydemo.appspot.com) and
try to establish the sync connection (by pressing the 'Sync Now' button) I
get the following message in ODK Sync:

Sync Progress State:
ERROR
Sync Progress Message
Failed Sync: Parameter 'directory' is not a directory

Any idea what can be the problem? I also installed ODK tables and use my
gmail account for establishing the connection. Thanks for the feedback.

Kind regards,

Eddy

You might have deleted the /sdcard/opendatakit/tables or
/sdcard/opendatakit/survey directory on the device (using a file manager,
for example) while ODK Survey or ODK Tables or ODK Sync was still running.
This can cause regular files to be created with these names (i.e., a file
called "tables" or a file called "survey" in the /sdcard/opendatakit
directory). If that happens, nothing will work. The fix is to go into the
device's Settings / Apps / Manage, select each of the ODK apps, ensure they
are all Force Closed, then delete the file, and then relaunch, etc. This
extremely annoying behavior will hopefully be eliminated soon.
