Another question for you folks...
Is it possible to have question types, such as dates for example, displayed
in a table view as opposed to a list view on a mobile device? I know this
can be done for web clients, but can't seem to figure it out for mobile.
What we are attempting to do is have a 'From' date and a 'To' date
side-by-side on the same screen. Currently, we can only have them in a list
format.
Also, is it possible to incorporate more than one *Appearance *attribute at
the same time, in the same instance?

That's currently not possible in ODK Collect without code changes from the
community.
ODK 2.0 was designed to address some of these use cases. If you are OK with
trying alpha software, you can find the tools at
https://opendatakit.org/use/2_0_tools/
