Table Lists

Hi

I have a select multiple question.
I then have a table-list group where I would like to have the rows of the
table populated by the selections in the first 'select multiple' question.

Is this possible? If so what should the 'name' and 'label' fields look like?

Many thanks
Carl

Yes, it is possible. You need to set a maximum limit on your repeat group.

The name field would be fixed (it cannot be a formula that refers to the
value of the earlier choice, but you could have it be a value that would be
useful for accessing that earlier choice -- e.g., the index for the choice).

The label can be a formula.

Attached is an example.

You need ODK Collect 1.4.3 for the displaying of the labels to work.

Dear Mitch

Thanks for your answer, but I am still not quite clear on how to do this
from your example.

I have added my own example beneath that of yours and attached the file.

The action I am after is that after choosing all the crop products that
apply, these should appear as the labels in the table list.

Hopefully you have some further advice for me.

Greetings
Carl

See attached. You follow the original example's use of calculate fields to
extract the values from the select-multiple (vs. the repeat group). then
use those calculated fields, with appropriate relevant conditions, in the
later prompts.
