Is there a way to generate a question where type = text, but in which a
list of answers can be entered, with each answer eventually populating a
different cell?
For example,
Q: What types of food did you eat for lunch?

This is not possible. Your options are a text box separated by
commands or a multi-select. As Imran suggested, it'd be good to
understand more about what you are trying to do at a high level.
