Time is off when using time prompts

Hi,

We are collecting data on when we are starting samplers. The start and end times are correct, but when we use the time prompt, the hour is not correct. For example, under start it says the survey was started at 2:16pm, which is correct. After this there is a question asking when a sampler was turned on, it should read 2:17pm (this is what the time is on the tablet and ODK form) but when the finalized form is sent to the ODK aggregate it says 9:17pm.

Any clues as to why this is happening?

Thank you,
Jen

Hi Jen,

Aggregate shows you the time in UTC only, and sounds like your data
was collected in the Seattle area (PDT).

One easy workaround is to collect time as two select ones: hours
(0-24) and minutes (0:60). Or two integer questions with appropriate
constraints.
