Tips for Compiling ODK Briefcase?

Hi,
I don't see any maven files for ODKBriefcase when checked out via mercurial
from Google code. Does anyone have any tips on how to modify/compile the
briefcase app? I'm guessing Eclipse with JDK 7 is the standard?
Thanks,
Joe

Correct. Eclipse, JDK 7.

w.r.t. maven, we will likely be migrating to gradle as the tools support
for that improves.

And if you don't want to use Eclipse, the build.xml ant script from ODK
Validate might be useful.
