To move back Deleted Saved forms to Upload folder

hi

We are using ODK Collect for our field research. due to poor connection,
field guys had huge problems in uploading the form.

As per them they have uploaded the filled forms to the server but we are
unable to trace those forms in Formhub server. But I can see those forms in
" deleted saved folder ".

Is there anyway we can move the forms from deleted saved folder to upload
folder to resend the forms to Formhub server ?

or I have copied these forms into laptop from instances folder of ODK. But
they are in xml folder. Is there any way to convert multiple XML files into
CSV / Excel files.

thanks

Aarti

Aarti,

Formhub is a dead project. Use https://ona.io instead.

Easiest way to resend is to go to Send Finalized Forms, press the menu
button (https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/android/21228643) and change
view to Show Sent and Unsent Forms. You can now resend the forms.

If you want to copy the instances, don't do that manually. Use ODK
Briefcase (https://opendatakit.org/use/briefcase/) to pull the forms
from the device. Briefcase can convert to CSVs as well.

Hi
Thanks a lot for the reply .
I have already copied a lot data manually from instances .
Is there a way to convert xml files into csv or xl files ? When I copied the instances manually , it has copied individual form as a folder .
So do let me know how to run multiple xml files into csv ? Or can I still copy instances copied in my laptop into briefcase ?
Appreciate the response .
Thanks

Aarti,

I'd strongly recommend you use the Send feature in ODK Collect to
resend the data. That's probably the easiest.

The second easiest is to use ODK Briefcase and pull the data from the
devices (or the /odk folder if you copied that).

If you've already copied the instances, then there isn't an easy way
to get them to CSV.

Formhub is a dead project. Use https://ona.io instead.

Easiest way to resend is to go to Send Finalized Forms, press the menu
button (https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/android/21228643) and change
view to Show Sent and Unsent Forms. You can now resend the forms.

If you want to copy the instances, don't do that manually. Use ODK
Briefcase (https://opendatakit.org/use/briefcase/) to pull the forms
from the device. Briefcase can convert to CSVs as well.

Briefcase can only push to ona / formhub. It won't be able to pull from
it. Contact ona / formhub for info on the tools they offer to get data out
of their systems.

Your screenshot shows that you are somehow viewing INSIDE the briefcase jar
(which does contain other jar files that it uses to run). i.e., your ZIP
archive program is opening the briefcase jar instead of JAVA.

You should probably uninstall Java and re-install it so that JAVA is the
default tool that opens jar files. Until you fix that, every time you
double-click, you will open your ZIP archive display tool and see inside
the jar instead of running it.

I'd strongly recommend you use the Send feature in ODK Collect to
resend the data. That's probably the easiest.

The second easiest is to use ODK Briefcase and pull the data from the

If you've already copied the instances, then there isn't an easy way
to get them to CSV.

HI Aarti,

You can't send from deleted saved.

Go to Send Finalized Forms, press the menu button
(https://www.whatsapp.com/faq/en/android/21228643) and change view to
Show Sent and Unsent Forms. You can now resend the forms from the Send
