Hi folks, I am new to ODK's toolkit so please bare with my rookie
questions. I have setup aggregate with 3 forms and I have been able to
populate and submit those forms back. Aggregate holds the value that has
been entered and I am capable of downloading it. Is there a way to toggle
into a label view instead of the value view ?
I have drop down list containing 40 items and I have named them item01 to
item40 in xlsform but looking at the aggregate it reports the value that
has been selected so itemxx. What I am hoping is there is a way to view
the data with the label view so the label of itemxx instead.
Because a form can have multiple translations / languages, we display only
the field name and value in our tabular results.
We never added the ability to select what language, timezone or locale
(date format) you wanted to view the prompt (label) or data in because we
had many other features to add to the tools, and this request has never
risen to the top of that wish list.
If you extract the data into a CSV file (e.g., ODK Briefcase), or publish
into Sheets or Fusion Tables, you can set up a mapping sheet / table in
those other tools to display a computed look-up of the value back into the
language of your choice.
