Unable to deploy ODK aggregator on Tomcat

Hello everyone,

I have performed setup for ODK aggregator as per said here
http://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/tomcat-install/. But when I deploy
it on the Tomcat, I am getting the 404 exception. Please let me know if
anyone has some solution for this,

Thanks.

Mandar,

What precise error message are you getting? Perhaps you can upload a
screenshot to picpaste.com or imgur.com and send out a link?

Follow-on notes:
(1) you need to ensure that the zip you end up with has the same directory
structure as the zip that you start with -- on Windows, it is easy to get
an extra directory inserted into the result.
(2) users have reported that zip on MacOSX does not work, and you need to
use the java jar command ( jar cf ../myjarfile.jar * )

··· -------------- Yes, this change by Google has been very abrupt.

Unfortunately, Google's new mechanism requires a publicly reachable domain
name for the Tomcat server, so it is of questionable utility.

The next ODK Aggregate release will ask and set up an ODK Aggregate login,
and the Google OpenId login will likely be deprecated. This means that it
will be harder to give remote assistance in some cases.

Our next ODK Aggregate release is on hold until we complete the ODK 2.0
interfaces.
