Unable to drag or zoom map in ODK Aggregate visualization tool using mouse

Hello,

I cannot drag or zoom the map in visualization tool in ODK Aggregate using mouse. Only zoom in and zoom out buttons in the lower right corner are working. The map is almost useless.

This is happening in Chrome and Firefox, Linux and Windows on all available to me servers including official demo server https://opendatakit.appspot.com.

However, maps.google.com is working as expected in the same browser.

I haven't used the ODK Aggregate mapping tool a lot before.
Is it a bug or a feature?

Kind regards,
Dmitry Drozdov.

Hi Dmitry,

This sounds to me like a bug and I agree that it makes the map hard to
use. Can you please file it at
https://github.com/opendatakit/opendatakit/issues/new so we have it
noted?

Thanks,

Yaw

Hi, Yaw,

Looks like that bug is still there, difficult to use map visualization, is there any temporary workaround?

As long as i work with ODK (2015) it was like this.
I also want to use my points in a map overview and think about exporting the data to use it in QGIS.
http://www.qgis.org/
Maybe the popup window in aggregate has limited funktionality, so why not opening the map visualisation in a new tab?

We've fixed this and it'll be in the next Aggregate release. https://github.com/opendatakit/aggregate/pull/157

ODK Aggregate Map Visualization should be like that:

https://ptcl.com.pk/Home/FindLocations

Here we can:
Zoom in/out
pan
Location click,show the details.
