UpgradingAggregateFrom1.4.4To_1.4.11

Hi, dear all.

I’m using Aggregate 1.4.4 and I want to upgrade to 1.4.11 ; but, some of
the steps at the following link

are not very clear to me (e.g : point 3 of general steps, etc.)

I beg those who had succefully performed upgrade, to indicate me the
details of the steps they had followed.

In advance, thanks.

Best,

I've updated the instructions; is the change in wording clearer?

Mitch, thanks to you so much for the update.
According to those updated instructions, the most recent version which does
not require any manual upgrade steps that I need seems to be the 1.4.11 (my
current version is the 1.4.4);
I've downloaded it yet, but my problem now is: how to perform the update
(run the installer by using the same project id? or what?)
Best,

Yes, you would run the installer and give the same answers as you gave when
you ran the installer years ago. I.e., the same project id. And then
upload the new version to Google's infrastructure using the upload tool
(which is automatically launched at the end of the installer).

The installer will ask for an instance name and, later, the Google project
id.

The instance name is combined with each user's password to create an
unguessable security code for that user (and the actual password is never
stored). Therefore, if you don't remember the instance name from your
earlier install, you will need to use the Site Admin / Permissions page's
"Change Password" button to re-enter the passwords for all of your users
after you complete the upgrade.
