Uploader tool failling

Hi,

I am struggling to get the uploader tool to work and receive the following
text in the output window:

I tried using a few different machines in case it was the multiple accounts
issue but this did not seem to resolve it. The link for the update check
appears to work if I open it in a browser, reporting the text "release:
"1.9.50" timestamp: 1488237693 api_versions: ['1.0'] " in the browser
window.

Any ideas what might be going wrong would be much appreciated.

Hi Richard,

This is pretty weird. UnknownHostException usually means your network
connection that the installer is using is being proxied or blocked.
Sometimes it means there is a DNS problem.

Try another connection (e.g., home, work, cell) and see if that helps.

Open your browser to https://appengine.google.com

If the browser can reach that site, it isolates the problem to the ODK
Aggregate uploader and installer.

If the browser cannot reach the site, then you have a network or wifi
connection problem on your computer or your ISP is having problems.

Also, you should manually delete:

C:\Users\rnorto25.appcfg_oauth2_tokens_java

This holds the authentication identity used in the upload. From the later
warning, it looks like this might not be writable (e.g., created by another
user / admin ).

Thanks Mitch and Yaw, - it looks like it was a proxy issue.

While I could access the https://appengine.google.com link when connected
within my work place network, it seems something was blocking the uploader,
which worked fine once I switched to a mobile hotspot.

Now I'm up and running!.
