Can anyone help me out. i have a form that has a repeating group, repeat-count being the number of list items in the select-one question. i want to validate the data entered in these to prevent a user selecting the same item in the select one question more than once that is
Example
select_one list choices > 1. Maize 2. Lemon 3. Melon 4.Rice
a user should be promted when they select 1.Maize more than once
i have attached the xls that i am working with the select_one which needs the validation for duplicates in that group is called * 1.1 Crop Production *
Second option if the above is not possible it to be able to keep track of all the select_one choice entered for while entering data so the user can know the list items data has been entered for
One workaround is to use a select_multiple with the choices first.
Then for each of those, have a group of questions that is relevant to
each choice. I've attached an example.
