USB transfer of survey data from Survey CTO

I'm working in a very low connectivity area right now, and I've had success converting xlsx files to XML and uploading them to the android tablets (4.4.x) that I'm using. However, when I download the "instances", the file output doesn't respect the skip logic / display logic I've used in my survey. Is there a way to correct this? Thanks to all for the great community.

Morning,

How you are downloading the data?

Please use Briefcase to pull your data:

Hi James,

In general, the output data should be ordered in the same way as your
XLSForm (e.g, the first question in the XLS will be the first column in the
CSV). Are you seeing different behavior? If so, what tools and versions are
you using?

And James, if you are using SurveyCTO: we don't support sync-over-USB, but
instead have a really nice offline/local wi-fi sync option that can work
well in most settings. You can see our help topic on operating more fully
offline
https://www.surveycto.com/private/help.html?topic=Help_Collecting-data_android-data-collection_fully-offline-operations&topic1x=Help_Collect_offline-sync.
That shouldn't affect the format of exports, but then it sounds almost like
you're looking at raw XML data (in which case you'll likely have no end to
confusion). You can also login to our online Support Center
http://www.surveycto.com/support/contact-support.html to get additional
help as needed.

Best,

Chris
