So it looks like the ultimate solution would be to use this:
While I haven’t used that API Call specifically using entities, my recent post using google Apps Script and Google Sheets would allow one to do this within the XLSForm, but is probably a less ideal solution than updating an entity. That code could be modified though to use this API call.
