Can anyone tell me what is the limit for the variable counts in each form?
We developed a form with many variables and are wondering if there is a
limit. What would be a potential problem. We are about going to field to
collect data and would appreciate if you could share your experience about
it. Thanks.
There is no limit to the number of fields a form can have (for ODK Collect
and the ODK 1.x tools).
The main limiting factor is how slowly the form loads and advances. The
more calculations and relevant conditions, the slower the form will operate.
After you first load the form, it is stored in a compressed representation
that will load faster the second time. It is common on longer forms to
still take 90 seconds or more to load.
