Wrong starting times in loops

Hi guys, Ive begun alayzing data from a questionnaire in which ive
programmed a loop. I have two questions:

  1. For some reason the starting times in the csv file seem to be wrong. We
started the survey around 6am, but the data is consistently showing 8, or
9am. Ive checked the tablets, and the time is set correctly. Also, the
tools on the tablets without loops seem not to have this problem, so Im
guessing it has something to do with the loops. Any ideas?

  2. This is my first time analyzing loops, and Ive ended up with two
seperate csv files for the loops. One short one with meta data, and one
long one with the loop data. How to I merge these two correctly? Im
assuming it has to do with the keys, but im not sure how to bring them
together in an efficient (and not overly time-consuming) manner.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Marc

ps.: I hope this is the right place to ask such questions...

Marc,

The better place to ask questions like this is the non-developer user
group, cc'd here.

Exported data will show times relative to the time zone of the exporting
computer, so perhaps there's just a difference between the time zone of the
tablets and the time zone of the exporting computer? I can't explain why
loops would have anything to do with it.

You'll see a "parent" key column in .csv files for repeated groups, and you
should be able to match that to the key column in another .csv file. Give
it a try and see how it goes.

If you reply again, please take the opendatakit-developers group out of the
cc line.

Thanks,

Chris
