Hi, when am trying to validate my xlsform an error occur says that an survey element has no label or hint. but i already put label to all the element?

Hi Charles,

This is the error i get, but is fixed when i add Hint column to the form
Error: The survey element named 'participant_ethnicity' has no label or hint.
Your file should have the .xls or .xlsx file extension because Ona uses XLS Forms to create forms.
Not sure what to do? Read more about Using XLSForms

I dont know attach afile is not working but the form already contain lable column and the problem did fixed when i add hint column

Hi Ella,

The label column in the survey and choices sheet was mispelt as "lable". I
have corrected the spelling.

In your choices sheet, some list_names were missing the label values.

A few suggestions based on your survey:

Age Range - it is best practice to collect the actual participant age
and then group them or come up with the range at analysis. This gives you
the flexibility to come up with different ranges based on the actual values.

If you decide to go ahead with the current design, please make it a single
select, as one can not fall into the two different age groups at the same
time.

The rest of the multiple select questions, should be single select
questions. You might also consider using the likert scale for the these
questions.

Find attached the corrected file.
