I created an XLS form for data collection, and when I convert it to an XML file and preview it in enketo, my cascading select widgit works just fine. However, when I save the form to the Android device and try to fill in the form using ODK collect, the cascading select doesn't work. To be more specific, here's what I'm trying to do:
Duration of illness - a) days, b) weeks, c) months
Number of days - a) 1-31 for days, b) 1-3 for weeks, and 3) 1-12 for months.
None of the options for "number of days" appear, whether i select days, weeks or months for the "duration of illness." I wonder if this is a problem with ODK Collect or with my file itself and if anyone else has had problems like this. Please let me know. Thanks!
Hard to say. It's probably best if you can show the relevant parts of your
xlsform.
