Chris Derrick is a results-oriented, with a background in Statistics and currently pursuing a Masters degree In Monitoring and Evaluation; a data enthusiast HMIS trainer who is committed and hardworking, having a wide range of skills and 4 years of demonstrated experience in M&E in International Organizations in donor-funded projects ranging from USAID, PEPFAR, Australian AId; where he has contributed to National Health System Strengthening. He is adept with Qualitative and Quantitative Research and data management and reporting using statistical software; SPSS, STATA, R-Analysis, ArcGIS for spatial analysis and producing visualizations using Tableau, Power-Bi, Advanced Excel.
Expertise in programming web-based mobile data collection tools for ODK, ONA, collect, Kobo-toolbox, Survey-123 ArcGIS, SurveyMonkey, survey CTO among others and utilized some in GIS mapping and analysis in health programs.
Excellent knowledge in planning, budgeting and developing quality improvement projects and monitoring the CQI projects in the public health facilities. He has expertise in extending technical support supervision in HMIS data management, analysis and use in MNCH, TB, HIV/AIDS, and Sexual Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) programs. He has experience in conducting operations research, Action Research, Needs assessments, Feasibility Studies, Baseline, Outcome mapping, Evaluations using Mixed methods, LQAS and RCTs.
