2 questions (date/time and backup xml before sending)

Hello. I have 2 questions I hope you can help me with.

  1. Is there a way to capture the date/time that the survey is created
    or saved? The system automatically has the date/time for submitted
    but I would like to have one for created as well.

  2. Is there a way to backup the xml file before the phone sends the
    data? My concern is that the phone thinks it connected to the app
    engine but the app engine doesn't receive the data. That data would
    be lost, right?

you can add time stamps to the form.

the phone never deletes data from the sd card even after sending it.
it just hides the data from the list of available instances.
