Add select one promp and specify other

Hi,
I am new in ODK and try to use for a survey.
When I try this command "add select one prompt using variable or
specify other" I get the the message "Conversion Error: (u'There is no
list of choices by this name', u'variabl')"
Can everyone help me?

I'm not sure which XLS2XForms you're using. The syntax for simple select1s
is:

add select one prompt using choicelist

Where choicelist is a name defined on choices worksheet.

I'm not sure what tool is guiding your construction, but the "variable or
other" probably does not have a value that can be found on the choices
worksheet.
