Greetings from Germany. I would like to test our first form with ODK
Connect running in Android SDK Emulator, since we have no device yet.
Was able to change server address, but User/PW stay greyed out. Is
this specific to SDK use and on the device this will be no problem? If
SDK does not emulate Connect properly, is there a local ODK Connect
folder inside the SDK where I can put the XML form into and it will be
shown as local? Thanks for your support. Lucas
hi lucas,
user/password functionality has not been implemented so we've disabled
them. collect should work fine without it.
you can put the forms in /sdcard/odk/forms/

Lucas you can push the xml form to odk collect on the emulator with the following command:
adb push /path/to/xml/filename.xml /sdcard/odk/forms/

Thanks guys, manual paste into Android SDK as per Andrew s
instructions was successful. Form shows up now in Collect, but cannot
be opened. Since in another topic I could not upload the form into our
own Aggregate I hope Yaw will find a mistake in the form I posted here
http://dpaste.com/229346/ . Form was generated with ODK Build

I checked what was causing ODK Aggregate to reject the form and the cause
was failure to parse the form. I used ODK Validate to confirm a problem
withe XML existed. I added an issue to the queue to fix the bug. Please add
any additional information to the issue that will help someone recreate the
bug.
The issue can be found at:

Cheers,
Waylon
