Adding time or monetary unit to question

Dear all,

I want to ask a question in my survey saying after experiencing health
problems how long did it take you to realise you needed medical care.

I need the patient to respond with a number and then choose the appropriate
unit- weeks, days, hours or minutes.

I can't figure out how to have a space for them to fill in an integer
number and then choose a unit like you would on a paper tool.

Please do you have any suggestions.

Thank you very much!
Oni

Hi Oni,

No need to post to the developer and community list. Just sending to
the community list is all you need to do because this isn't a question
about changing ODK's code.

Assuming you are using XLSForm, use two prompts, an integer and a
select one with the units you want. Then wrap both with a group with
an appearance of field-list.
