App for height measurement?

Hi all,
Has anyone used any apps for mobile anthropometry to measure height? What
was your experience?

Thanks!
-Kate

Hi Kate,

If you are looking for a way to calculate percentiles and Z-scores for
kids, what I've seen done in the past is to use CSV preloading in ODK
to capture inputs (gender, age) and use those inputs to look up the
various percentiles in CSVs from
https://www.cdc.gov/growthcharts/percentile_data_files.htm.

I've attached a sample lookup form and
http://xlsform.org/#how-to-pull-data-from-csv has more instructions on
how to do lookups.

One alternative is to use
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_dlmetzger58.AnthroCalc.
It was just released a month ago, so I have no idea if it's good or
not...
