Are there any free 'web based' data entry form services that could ODK excel forms?

Hi there,

I use ODK collect for a research study, where I upload my excel generated
surveys (XML conversions) into, and it works perfectly.
I'd like to offer a web version of the same questionnaires (with the same
skip logic etc). I see there are a few services available (enketo, formhub
(no longer supported), etc), but they seem to require a fee depending on
the number of forms. I'm a PhD student, and don't really have a research
budget to maintain yearly service fees. Any alternatives out there? I have
25 modules (25 different excel forms), broken down from 1 long
questionnaire.

Thanks so much for your help!

Amber

Hi Amber,

No free services that work with ODK aggregate. However, check out all-in-one solutions such as KoBoToolbox.org and Ona.io. Both include Enketo as part of their package and are actively maintained and supported. You can directly upload your XLSforms to these services.

More options here but not sure about costs: https://enketo.org/#tools

Cheers,
Martijn

Hi Amber,
What we have created for epidemiologists and health professionals would
partially fulfil your needs. Wepi (www.wepi.org) allows form completion
both through ODK collect and through a web page. However, it only serves
the forms that are created with the wepi editor (that is, it cannot import
pre-existing XML forms). There is no cost involved in using Wepi.
