Hello team,
I am having a persistent issue starting ODK Collect after installation. It immediately throws the following error:
"Cannot start the app! External files dir does not exist: /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/org.odk.collect.android/files"
I suspect this is related to Scoped Storage on my device.
Device and App Details:
Device Model: Tecno Pop 7
App Version: v2025.3.3
Android Version: 12
Troubleshooting Steps Completed:
Storage Permissions: Confirmed that Files and Media permission is Allowed for ODK Collect.
Clear Data/Reinstall: Performed Clear Storage/Clear Data via App Settings, followed by a full Uninstall and Reinstall.

I haven’t received any response, so I just wanted to ask if there’s any chance you could run the test I mentioned above.
This issue might be a bug specific to a particular phone model, which we can’t do anything about, but it could also be something we can improve on our side, so your help would be very valuable.
