Capture Geo coordinate automatically

Hi Friends,

On one of my ODK forms, I would like to capture Geo-Coordinates without
showing to the data collector, that the form is capturing Geo-coordinates.
Means I don't want the user to press any button to record Geo-coordinates,
it should automatically be captured at some point of the form.

Hi Imran,

This is currently not possible with Collect. The feature request is at
https://github.com/opendatakit/collect/issues/24. If this an important
feature for you, explain in the issue why the existing functionality
is inadequate.

We do customization of ODK collect.
Your requirement can of automatic recording of Geo-coordinates can be done.
Earlier we had done the similar type of work.

The issue is at https://github.com/opendatakit/collect/issues/375 can
you please write a quick comment about why you added auto-recording
and how yours works?

Once we can build consensus around an approach, it should be easy to
get the code merge.
