Capture local weather data automatically

How to get the local weather data automatically like that of the geolocation.
Please help

This is not possible with ODK. Two possible solutions (but both are very complex):

  • You could collect the location and the date, and then in your later data analysis use historic weather data to lookup the weather in that location on that day.
  • You could build an external app to get the local weather from some other service and pass that information to Collect during the survey. The docs have some general information on Launching External Apps.
