Change password

Dear friends! i am new with odk, i entered with my username and default
password of odk (aggregate), now i am changing password, it do not give any
massege for changing or not changinr password, and when i log out, then, i
should log in with default password, it mean that password was not changed,
so, what to do to change my password?

Hello:

Some questions, and possible suggestions:

  1. What are you logging into Aggregate with? Which button do you press on
    the initial log-in screen? The change password facility in Aggregate only
    applies to Aggregate accounts, which are the ones accessed by the first
    button on the log-in screen. It sounds like this is what you are doing, but
    if you are instead logging in with a Google account, you'll have to change
    the password on your Google account instead.
  2. When you log out, are you closing the entire browser like the message
    suggests? I haven't personally found this to be necessary but it may make a
    difference for you.
  3. I agree that it's really confusing that there is no message whether the
    password change was successful or not. I would perhaps leave that page open
    for a minute or two just to make sure it went through.
  4. If you have changed your Aggregate instance name, there is a note here (
    https://opendatakit.org/use/aggregate/#Using_the_Application ) under item
    #8 noting that all passwords will be reset to the default in that case.

I hope that helps, I'm not sure exactly what's happening.
