Collect data with medical devices like sphygmomanometer?

Hi. I want to ask if odk can collect data from this device
"sphygmomanometer"?
)
(sorry my english is not so good)

It is unclear whether this device has Bluetooth or USB outputs.

Assuming it does, you would need an Android application that could be
launched from ODK Collect, could interpret the data coming across from the
device, and could return that information in the format expected by ODK
Collect.

Hi Mitch
Thank you for your help.
in the notice of this device it is said that it can send outputs through
USB.
I also see the odk sensor framework. do you think this framework is
appropriate for this task? if not what kind of application can help me.

thanks

The sensor framework is intended to help with setting up a device like
this.

You would still need to write an adapter app that can interpret the USB
message contents and convert them into meaningful values.

If you are interested in writing that app, you should perhaps talk with
Richard Anderson ( mailto:anderson@cs.washington.edu ).
