When a phone user is panic in the event the app crash, he/she might make the wrong decision such as discard the submission instead of recovering it.

Understand the ODK let user to choose either discard or recover. To avoid recorder unintentionally discard the submission due to lack of knowledge or panic. configure the settings to disable the discard button might be helpful. User can then only choose the recover, save and delete submission later.
