Converting backends to Modules

I had a 'conversion of backends' installation script warning on Google
AppsEngine instance of Aggregate. Is this something that is being followed
up on. Is it needed? Will it matter if I deploy on my hosted Tomcat server?
The app works fine, I just want to know if this warning may affect our
deployment at some point.

Thanks!

The backends mechanism is only applicable to Google AppEngine.

Tomcat deployments use a different mechanism for performing background
activities.

On AppEngine, Google deprecated the backends mechanism in favor of a full
EAR configuration.

We have a volunteer working to modify the installer for that new
configuration, but no ETA on that change.

The biggest impact is for users that need to increase their JVM sizes on
Google AppEngine.

The only way to do that is through the use of the EAR configuration.
