Copy paste

Hi, I want to copy and paste text. The copy function appears as usual with a double touch. But the paste function does not appear if I hold my finger on the place I want to paste the text. Only after I enter a letter or number and touch it the blue icon and the paste function appears. What's the best way for copy/paste in ODK?

Long press to paste won't work because that action is how you remove responses.

If you are using Android 4, use the menu.

I hate to resurrect an old thread but this has become an issue for some of
the tablets my firm uses. As far as I can tell, the action bar doesn't
exist for Lollipop either....
