Data Pre-loading

Is it possible to load onto aggregate account the csv. file from which a
form preloads data?

Since the csv is copied "locally" onto the ODK media folder, this means all
devices have to be present for csv file to be copied.

In a situation where a device is not accessible, but has access to the
internet, if both the form and csv can be downloaded to a device through
"get blank form" this would be helpful.

Is this possible in ODK?

Yes it is, when you upload the form into Aggregate, upload the csv as an Optional Media File

Hi Louis,
Sure, I managed to identify the source of error. It had something to do
with the relevant syntax within within a nested group.

Thanks.

You cannot have two fields mutually-dependent upon each others values:

name relevant
Q1 selected(${Q2}, 'no')
Q2 selected(${Q1}, 'no')

When you write something like the above, you are saying that:

The visibility (relevance) and value of Q1 depends upon the value of
Q2,

AND,

The visibility (relevance) and value of Q2 depends upon the value of Q1

This creates a cycle Q1 -> Q2 -> Q1 -> ...

and the software is unable to choose which question to ask first.

I.e., if it were to pick Q1 as "first", then it needs to first ask Q2 in
order to determine whether Q1 should be asked or skipped.

I.e., if it were to pick Q2 as "first", then it needs to first ask Q1 in
order to determine whether Q2 should be asked or skipped.

This is what the error message is complaining about.
