I had a form that created a dataset with 4-5 attributes. I have deleted said form and would like to delete the dataset and the 2 entities it currently holds.
I have created a new form that I expect to recreate the dataset with about 16 attributes this time. If your first thought is - "you can just upload the new form and have it append the additional attributes to the dataset" - well, you're right. But then I will not be able to rename the existing attributes (at least I haven't found anything in the docs that suggest I could).
Any pointers would be appreciated.
FYI, I'm running Central v2023.5.1
It is possible to delete individual entities from an entity list, but unfortunately it is not currently possible (even as of Central 2024.1) to a) delete properties from an entity list, b) rename properties, or c) delete an entire entity list. Our main recommendations right now include having an experimental entity list or project or making a new entity list with a different name. Sorry that those are the only options right now.
I work on Central and often think about how to delete or clean up unwanted data. We have talked about archiving/hiding old entity list properties. We can also discuss the implications of deleting an entire entity list and being able to start fresh.
