Developer consultant RFP: evaluating electronic data collection platforms for use in clinical trials

I wanted to share an RFP you, or those in your network, may be interested in considering. FHI 360 is conducting a study to develop an improved way of collecting data on how contraception impacts the menstrual cycle in contraceptive clinical trials.

We are seeking a consultant to evaluate electronic data collection platforms, including ODK, on their ability to meet the study needs and provide advice and guidance to the study team about the future development of a platform for use in these future contraceptive trials.

The RFP with details on the scope of work and qualifications is posted on the FHI 360 consultant services page: https://solicitations.fhi360.org/ConsultantSolicitation.aspx

I’m happy to answer any questions, and please feel free to share this RFP very widely. We will be collating all questions from consultants sent to us by next Tuesday and posting answers next Thursday.

Warm regards,
Amelia

Hi Amelia (@FHI_360_PROM)

I’m an academic based at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine where my team specialises in methods and data sciences for public good. We’ve done quite a lot of work on developing methods for using ODK in clinical trials, particularly in resource limited settings. We also regularly support agencies such as WHO to undertake emergency research during public health crises.

You can learn more about me and the work of my team here https://profiles.lshtm.ac.uk/2205-Chrissy-h-Roberts

I’d be happy to have an informal chat over Zoom if you have some time. My email address is on my profile page (see above) and I’m relatively free in the next couple of weeks.

@yanokwa thanks so much for highlighting this to me.
