Downgrade to an old version of Aggregate on GAE

Is it possible to downgrade? If so, how? I want to downgrade from 1.4.4 to 1.3.4.

Beginning in April 2015, you will be unable to use the Google OpenID login
mechanism. If you do downgrade, be sure that you have an ODK Aggregate
username defined and password configured with Site Admin privileges. Note
that this username can become unusable if you change the "ODK Aggregate
Instance Name" (one of the prompts during the install process).

Yes, you can downgrade to an earlier version provided that you are aware of
the various upgrade/downgrade issues. In this case, the downgrade to 1.3.4
should be done only after deleting any ODK Tables files and data you might
have on the server, and there will be issues with the JSON publishers.

Thanks Mitch. I understand I will have to delete all existing data tables and I am fine with that. But how do I go about the restriction of Java 6 app on GAE? If there and easy way to upgrade the Aggregate 1.3.4 to version 7 of java?

Thanks.

Does the standard installer fail to upload to GAE?

If it uploads, everything should work.

Otherwise, upgrading to Java 7 and possibly upgrading a number of the
libraries to that version would be a very time consuming activity.

Yes, it fails saying that Java 6 applications are not supported by GAE anymore.

The reason for downgrading was due to the issue with JSON publisher in Aggregate version 1.4.4 (for which I have a separate post). But since upgrading to Java 7 would not be an easy task, I guess I will have to work on fixing the issue with 1.4.4 itself.

BTW, you mentioned late last week about Aggregate version 1.4.5 - when will it go live?

Thanks.

Aggregate 1.4.5 has been released and ODK Collect 1.4.5 began rolling out
on the Google Play store late yesterday.
