Job description
As part of its LISANGA Project funded by CDC / PEPFAR and providing support to the Ministry of Health of the Democratic Republic of Congo, EGPAF is recruiting a Data Management Officer . Under the direct supervision of the SI&E Manager , the Data Management Officer. The Data Management Officer is mainly responsible for creating, administering, organizing and updating databases; ensure that the information is available at all times so that employees in other departments can use it in good time; changes the database by making changes; and participates in the choice of methodological and technical solutions that will be put in place to improve the processing and management of data. He is in charge of optimally defining the parameters of the database. It establishes data security rules (physical and logical) as well as standards for the use of the database. It sets up standards and recommends good practices for the use of databases.
