I tested the counter today and this is really a great extra feature! Very useful for us. I know there is a lot of work behind it, so I am careful about 'complaining' too fast... But, is it possible to enter also directly a number/value in the counter? In our case, the enumerator sometimes have to count up to 200 trees. When using the counter, he/she now has to press the + button 200 times. Good if you don't know the number and you really have to count, but in case you already know, then this will be annoying and it would be more user friendly if you can enter the number directly.... Is this possible with a setting? Again, great work and happy to use this feature.
If your workflow can be either "click to count" or "enter the number" - have you considered using a select question asking something like "How would you like to provide the number of trees? [counter tool, type the number]" and then showing either the counter or an integer type question depending on the response. You can then use a calculate type question to merge the answers from the two questions into just one field, or you could merge the data in post-processing.
Thanks for the response. Yes I have. But I want to get rid of additional pre-select questions as much as possible. When you have to fill in a dozen times the same form (which is the case in our project) you don't want to see too many pre-select questions, notifications or what so ever. So if I can prevent this it is beneficial for the efficiency. If my request is not possible to solve, then I might use your solution.
