Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough space for 1126400KB object heap

Hi there

When i try and upload ODK Aggregate to Google AppEngine i get this error message:

"Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for 1126400KB object heap"

Please help!?!

I assume this is using the ODK Aggregate installer and the error is
occuring during the running of the upload script (after the final installer
screen, when a separate script (the upload script) runs and you have
entered your e-mail account and password).

Are you running the ODK Aggregate 1.4.7 installer?

It sounds like you have a non-standard Java installation that has specified
some very-wrong start-up configuration parameters.

Are you using Java 7? We have not tested with Java 8.

Do you have a _JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable defined?

(the original user never replied)

Same questions for you:

What OS are you running (MacOSX, Windows 10, etc.)

What version of ODK Aggregate are you trying to install.

What version of Java do you have? To see this, open a CMD (Windows) or
Terminal (Mac) window and type:

java -version

This should report something like:

C:\Users\Admin>java -version
java version "1.7.0_80"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_80-b15)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.80-b11, mixed mode)

The java version should be something like "1.7.xxxxx"

If it isn't see the instructions for installing Java.
