This does not seem to have been working for the last to days, I have tried
to export one of my test surveys on at least half a dozen occasions over
the last 48 hours, it says the report is generating but nothing happens,
the last one I left running for 12 hours.... still nothing. It is a very
short survey and would normally generate in a couple of minutes.

update this problem now seems to have fixed it's self
When this happens, you can check the Logs of your AppEngine instance to see
if there are any errors. The CSV file generation is performed on the
'background' instance.
Go to your dashboard via: https://appengine.google.com/ choose your
application id.
Click on "Logs",
Choose "Version" and select "background"
Choose 'Show:' Logs with minimum severity: 'Error'
Select 'Search'
You will likely see some logging entries for the time period.
Including those on your e-mail will help me debug the issue.
