I am attempting to upload a form created in ODK build to Aggregate and eventually a tablet to be used for field collection. I have received a number of error messages on the way. I am using Google Nexus tablet.
First error is received when trying to upload a xml file created in build to aggregate. "Error: Problem with JavaRosa Parsing Form: org.opendatakit.aggregate.exception.ODKIncompleteSubmissionData: Javarosa failed to construct a FormDef. Is this an XForm definition?
Second error is when logging in to aggregate: Error: Problem persisting data or accessing data (Unexpected state: 2 OdkTablesUserInfoTable records matching uid:copperheadtablet@gmail.com|2014-02-12T19:41:18.846+0000)
Third error is when trying to export form from build directly to aggregate: {"error":"Something went wrong when trying to post to Aggregate."}
I am obviously new to ODK and am evaluating it vs several other data collection softwares and have very minimal code or programming experience. I just need to figure out why my forms will not upload to tablet. Thanks.
First things first, make sure your form is valid. Download the latest
version of ODK Validate at http://opendatakit.org/downloads/download-category/validate/. My guess
is that you probably have selects that have labels but no underlying
values. Get that working first, then we can worry about everything
else.
