I'm trying to implement a very simple form in Arabic: it only stores
the deviceID (see attached XML).
When main language of the tablet is English, I can save the form with
no problem. However, when I switch to Arabic I get an Unkown Pattern
character and the file cannot be saved (see attached screenshot).
What could be the issue ?
I tried on the following configurations :
ODK Collect 1.4.7 (1053)
Galaxy Tab E (SM-T560)
Android 4.4.4
Our translations are provided by the community at large.
In this case, there were a number of errors in the initial set of
translations.

I've compiled the git's head yesterday and it did work, thanks. We are
planning to use this version until Collect 1.4.8 is released, in
which case we'll switch back to official releases.

Are you using aosp_armv7_eng to compile your file for Galaxy tab E ? thanks
