Form submission failure from android emulator to ODK Aggregate running on Tomcat Apache

Hi,

I'am facing this problem of failure of form submission from android
emulator to ODK Aggregate running on Tomcat apache as a localhost on
my laptop.I even tried giving ip address as 10.0.2.2 with the port
8080 (url: http://10.0.2.2:8080) and http://localhost:8080 but still
facing the same problem. I have tried everything that could be
possible but still can't figure out why my emulator is not able to
recognize the localhost ODK Aggregate Server. Please suggest
something.I would be really thankful.

Try http://code.google.com/p/opendatakit/wiki/AggregateTroubleshooting
and let us know if that doesn't help.

Thankyou for the link.I tried following:

  1. opening of port 8080 through netsh command
  2. changing the port
    but still no progress. And on my pc i can access ODK Aggregate which
    is running on tomcat on this url : http://127.0.0.1:8080 but through
    my android emulator browser it is opening through http://10.0.2.2:8080..
    but ODK Agregate is not getting open in the emulator but tomcat is
    opening and also form are not getting submitted to
    http://10.0.2.2:8080/ODKAggregate/Aggregate.html. it is showing
    ERROR:not found (404) url http://10.0.2.2:8080/ODKAggregate/Aggregate.html/submission.

Start here:

Until you can open a browser from your phone to your PC, and see the Tomcat
Administration page or the Aggregate app running on it, it isn't going to
work.

If you just need to pull data off your phone onto your PC, you might want
to use ODK Briefcase. It can export CSVs, but not KML.
