As It seems that it is not possible to update a form to add, remove or
rename fields in a form (if I am wrong, please tell me), I need to create a
new form each time I need to update the design of a form.
Therefore, I would like to know if there is a specific way to do "advanced"
export on ODK in order to have a good level of analysis on my data : Is
there a plugin or an external tool which could help me to export in one
file data from various forms, including the mapping between the columns of
the export model and the fields of the forms ?
For example, starting from data :
Form version 1 :
Name / Surname / Date of birth
5 records
Transformed to : Form version 2 :
Name / Surname / Date of wedding / Number of children
4 records
=> Exporting to :
Name / Surname / Date (which can be date of birth or date of wedding) /
Number of children
- Datas from Form 1 and Form 2 = 9 records

Hi Cedric,
Don't know of a tool that does what you describe. I suppose you could
build one, but I can't even think of a non-hacky way of doing it. I
think your best bet is to pilot forms extensively before they go into
production.
