Form update failed : collect can't connect securely to the server

1. What is the issue? Please be detailed.
By scanning the Qr code, the collect application adds a project. but when i try to get form in 'fill blank form' tab i'm getting a notification like Form update failed : collect can't connect securely to the sever

NOTE : I'm using a custom SSL certificate issued by CA therefore the connection is secure.

2. What steps can we take to reproduce this issue?

since it is self-hosted sever and it's for medical purpose I can't share the URL here.

3. What have you tried to fix the issue?

  1. I've tried to install old version of ODK-collect
  2. tried different smartphones with different OS versions
  3. app user access is provided for the specific project
  4. tried to connect maunally

Does the SSL cert at https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html look good? You can compare with https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker.html#hostname=demo.getodk.cloud

I have merged both SSL and chain certificate using notepad++ and pasted at /data/central/files/local/customssl now it's working fine! :grinning:
